3:15-4:00 “Rites of Passage Youth Group (Step group). Michael Green, LCSW-C, Associate Director, University of Maryland School Mental Health Program; Sherwood Lennon, BA, BCPSS, Teacher, and Natasha Thurmon, MA, BCPSS, Teacher, Franklin Square Elementary/Middle School. The Rites of Passage group uses an eclectic mixture of historic and current knowledge to educate students, while at the same time exposing them to preventative measures that will assist them in their personal and societal advancement. This process includes prevention group activities, individual counseling services, community service projects and expressional step.
